How a Closed Suction System Works

A working system has three layers: a disposable suction liner that holds the waste, a reusable polycarbonate canister that supports it and connects to vacuum, and a mounting layer such as a wall bracket or trolley. Regulators, tandem tubing, solidifying agent and pressure gauges are ordered separately.
The 3000ml liners from the YDC, YDE and YDF families drop straight into 3000ml canisters. Canister models PB/C, PE and PF each offer a 3000ml body, and PA covers 2000ml and 3500ml. Match liner and canister volumes so the bag does not over-expand under vacuum.
The YDI trolley system ships as a set with stand, canister, bracket and regulator. Wall mounting is a separate choice: the mounting bracket fixes a canister to a device or wall by screw or slot, and the integrated brackets use 15 and 45 hooks in aluminium alloy for bedside hanging.
