Suction Liner Selection Guide: Comparing 7 Models

You have 7 types of suction liners in front of you—A, B, C, D, E, F, and VII. Capacities range from 1000 ml to 3500 ml, and designs range from large conical to spring-loaded and also soft bag. How do you choose? This isn't a multiple-choice question—it's a matching question. The correct answer isn't "which one is the best," but "which one best matches my needs." This article helps you understand the design logic and optimal application scenarios for each product model.

Part 1: Quick Overview of 7 types of suction liners

Type YDA — Available in 2000 ml and 3500 ml capacities.

Large-diameter top lid, large-taper bag body; when the bag body is filled with waste fluid, it will not come into close contact with the canister;

The top lid features a lifting ring, making it easy for medical staff to remove after filling with waste fluid; Large suction power and large capacity, paired with a floor suction pad to meet the needs of special surgeries such as arthroscopy.

Type YDB —  Available in 2000ml and 3000ml.

Bag body spring design: The bag body automatically pops out when filled with waste fluid, making removal easy;

Anti-overflow models use an internal ventilation path with no tubing design, making installation convenient;

Lifting ring design for easy carrying.

Type YDC — Available in 1000 ml, 1500 ml, 2000 ml, and 3000 ml capacities.

Classic design, offering the most capacity options among all series. Complete product specifications can meet the needs of various clinical departments.

Type YDD — Available in 1000 ml capacity.The top lid features a funnel design, making it convenient for medical staff to quickly extract and observe embryonic tissue; reduces surgery time and alleviates patient pain; clean and hygienic, avoiding cross-infection.

Type YDE — Available in 1000 ml 1500 ml and 3000 ml capacities.

Multi-functional lid integrating sampling port, patient port, series connection port, and vacuum port. Each bag is equipped with an anti-overflow filter.

Adopts an independent dual-channel gas-liquid design, avoiding waste fluid contamination of the negative pressure source and effectively controlling cross-infection.

Type YDF (Soft liner) — Available in 1000ml 2000ml and 3000 ml capacities.

Independent dual-channel gas-liquid separation design, foldable soft liner bag.

80 units per box, significantly reducing transportation and storage costs. Can fully match Finland SERRES canisters.

Type YDVII — Available in 1000ml 1500ml and 2000 ml capacities.

Features a top-mounted coagulant chamber design—the coagulant is stored independently in the  chamber on the lid; clinical staff can choose the timing of release as needed.After the waste fluid mixes with the coagulant, it solidifies into a gel-like solid within minutes, facilitating safe transportation and compliant incineration disposal.

Part 2: Demand Selection

Step 1: Match Core Function Drainage Canister

Need to collect embryonic tissue samples? → Choose YDD

Need optimal storage costs? → Choose YDF (soft liner)

Need waste fluid solidification treatment with immediate automatic action? → Choose YDA-YDF series models containing coagulant

Need waste fluid solidification treatment with on-demand controllability? → Choose YDVII (top-mounted)

Need a general solution and unsure which to choose? → Choose YDC or YDE

Step 2: Confirm Configuration Options

With/without shutoff filter
